Officially it's a golf course seed box. In reality, it's one of those brilliantly simple objects that's useful almost anywhere.
Yes, golf courses fill them with seed and divot mix. We'd happily fill one with logs, herbs, muddy boots, dog leads, kindling or whatever else needs somewhere to live outdoors.
The drainage holes in the bottom mean rainwater doesn't collect inside, making it just as happy as a planter as it is a storage box.
Made from dense tropical hardwood and built for commercial use, it's designed to spend its life outside.
Why We Made It
Our workshop in Indonesia normally builds commercial outdoor products that have to survive years of hard use and tropical weather.
This is one of those products.
We thought it was far too nice to be confined to golf courses.
So we're offering exactly the same box for anyone who appreciates straightforward, well-made timber products that simply get on with the job.
No plastic. No flat-pack. No nonsense.

Care
Leave it outdoors and it'll weather naturally to a silvery grey.
If you prefer the richer colour of fresh timber, give it an occasional coat of tung oil or another suitable exterior hardwood oil.
