Nitto Stainless Handlebar Shim | 25.4mm to 26.0mm
A precision stainless steel shim that lets you fit 25.4mm handlebars into a 26.0mm stem clamp — the correct solution for mixing older Japanese stems with modern or narrower bars. Sold as a pair (two halves, enough for one bar/stem combination). Made in Japan.
Simply place one shim on each side of the handlebar at the clamp area, insert into the stem, and tighten as normal. No compromise on security — stainless steel, precision fit.

When Do You Need This?
Nitto's 26.0mm stems (including the UI-2 range) require a 26.0mm bar clamp. If you want to run a 25.4mm handlebar — such as a track bar or cut-down riser — this shim bridges the gap safely and securely.
