A genuine piece of seafaring history — this salvaged Seiko ships cabin clock is one of our most sought-after marine finds. Available in a choice of body and face colour combinations to suit any interior, each clock carries the patina and character of a life lived at sea.

Originally a slave clock, it was wired to the master clock in the captain's cabin so every timepiece on board could be synchronised as the vessel crossed into a new time zone. We've converted each one to run on two AA batteries using a reliable Lotus quartz mechanism (part of the Festina watch brand group). A small knob on the face unscrews to reveal the mechanism inside.

Seiko's story begins in 1881, when Kintarō Hattori founded his Tokyo watchmaking house — going on to become the official timepiece supplier to the Japanese military during World War II. The heritage behind every Seiko clock is unmatched.
