A genuine salvaged single wall light by Kokosha Co. Ltd, Osaka, Japan — the single version of our double amber glass wall light. A tall cylindrical textured amber glass shade in a raised square-grid pattern sits on a heavy brass base, with a side-mounted junction box carrying the original ON/OFF toggle switch.

Reclaimed from marine service, it still wears its red EM'CY tag, marking it as part of a ship's emergency lighting circuit. The original Kokosha Co. Ltd Osaka Japan maker's plate is intact on the side of the box.

Details:
Textured amber glass shade that throws a warm, patterned glow. Brass lamp base and arm with domed acorn nuts. Junction box with integrated toggle switch. Back plate with four fixing holes and a central cable entry for straightforward wall mounting. Sold as an unwired body — not rewired or PAT tested.

Condition:
Genuine vintage salvage with age-appropriate wear to the brass, surface rust on the back plate, and a worn edge to the switch label (see photos). Not a modern reproduction.

Ideal for: kitchens, bathrooms, hallways, porches and bar or café interiors wanting authentic industrial or nautical character. Pairs well with the matching Kokosha double wall light.
