Salvaged Japanese Ship Load Indicator Panel – Amber, Green & Red Lights

A salvaged ship's load indicator panel from a decommissioned cargo vessel, fitted with three chrome-ringed domed lenses in amber, green and red. Each lens is labelled in Japanese: 低負荷 (low load), ノーマル (normal) and 過負荷 (overload). It would have been used to show whether shipboard machinery such as a generator, motor or pump was running under low, normal or excess load.
