A salvaged ship's explosion-proof hand lamp made by Daeyang Electric Co., Ltd. of Pusan, Korea. A clear glass globe sits inside a white painted cast guard cage with a hanging hook, above a moulded black handle with a stainless steel eye ring and cable entry at the base. Carry it, hang it from the hook or the eye ring, or use it as a hanging feature light. A strong piece for industrial, workshop, bar and nautical interiors.

The original red maker's plate reads "Explosion Proof Type Hand Lamp", model DYE-EXHL, AC220V, 60W, protection Ex de IIB T3 (IEC 79-0, 1, 7). A yellow Korean safety certification label on the neck shows Ex d IIB T3, certificate 95-1129-Q1, dated July 1995.

Condition

Genuine salvage in good condition. Expect light paint wear and chips to the cage, and scuffs and wear to the maker's labels from past use at sea.
