Salvaged Daeyang Aluminium Hand Lamp – Vintage Ship's Inspection Light

A genuine salvaged Daeyang hand lamp, the kind of rugged hand-held inspection light once carried around ships' engine rooms, passageways and holds. Each one has a moulded grip with cooling fins, a clear glass dome, a protective wire cage and a hanging hook, so it works just as well stood on a shelf as hung on a wall or from a beam. A great industrial statement piece for kitchens, bars, workshops, hallways and garden rooms.

These lamps came out of decommissioned vessels and the DAEYANG name is moulded into the handle. They are sold in three original colours, and the Various option is a mixed pick.

Condition

Sold as a salvaged light body only. The lamp is not rewired and not PAT tested, so it is ideal for a project and should be wired by a qualified electrician to suit your fitting and lamp type. Expect genuine age-related wear such as scuffs, patina, chipped paint and surface marks, which are part of the character. Each lamp is individual, so colour and finish vary slightly.
