The history of the Maritime Wall Clock made in Japan

Having sailed hundreds of thousands of kilometers in one of the many cabins of large cruise ships like the Atlantic ship, this clock is found on the Indian coast shipyards for a complete dismantling of buildings. Some parts of these imposing ships are recycled, other jetties, and the most beautiful things are collected and collected by the amateurs. Like these vintage gems.
Made in the 80s in Japan these "slave" clocks were all connected by electric wire in the boat to the mother clock which was located in the captain's cabin. This set the time of the boat at each change of time zone and put the hundreds of clocks on time at the same time.

This clock originally operated with a secondary slave connection and has since been converted to a battery-powered movement. Recovered from ships that travelled thousands of miles, some may show light rust or patina — basically proof they’ve lived a more exciting life than most clocks. Variations may include black and red hands or gold hands, because even clocks like to mix things up.
