These "test" saddles were destined for landfill.

Not because there's anything wrong with them. They're genuine Selle San Marco test saddles.

The logos may fade or rub away over time, and the lightweight cover may show wear sooner than a regular retail saddle. We've seen some delaminate. Structurally they're sound and perfectly rideable—they simply weren't suitable for normal retail sale. Use them with a saddle cover if you're wanting the ultimate cheap hack.

The manufacturer couldn't sell them.

So we've rescued the lot.

For just £5, we'll plant a tree on the Indonesian island of Sumba through our reforestation project with our partner, Wira, and we'll send you a saddle.
