Kappa Salvaged Ships Clock – Original Sea Marine Green

A genuine salvage find — this Kappa ships clock in original sea marine green carries the authentic character of a working vessel, and suits everything from a coastal living room to an industrial-style interior.

Kappa clocks are authentic vintage maritime slave clocks, originally manufactured in Korea through a technical collaboration with Seiko of Japan. They were wired to the master clock in the captain’s cabin, allowing every timepiece on board to be synchronised as the ship crossed into a new time zone. We have converted each one to run on a reliable AA battery-powered silent quartz movement. A small knob unscrews to open the hinged bezel and reveal the mechanism.

The original sea marine green paint finish gives this clock an honest, aged quality that polished reproductions simply cannot replicate.
