Pauluhn Vintage Aluminium 4 foot Strip Light Marine Salvage

This is a 4ft flame-proof strip light manufactured by Crouse-Hinds / Pauluhn of Texas, USA. These rare examples were made in the 1970s for use in hazardous areas aboard super tankers and cargo ships travelling the globe.

The heavy cast aluminium body and thick protective glass tube were built for conditions where failure wasn't an option — the same over-engineering that makes them such a striking statement piece today. Perfect suspended over a large office table, snooker or pool table, dining table or kitchen island.
