Ostrich Bags

Ostrich is a small, specialist Japanese brand that’s been making bicycle luggage since the 1970s. They’re best known inside Japan for Rinko bags – lightweight, packable covers that let riders carry or board trains with their bikes.

Beyond Rinko, they make saddle bags, front bags, bar bags, travel cases, tire covers and small pouches – all stitched in Japan with a very utilitarian, no-nonsense style. Materials are usually canvas or heavy nylon, hardware is simple and durable, and the designs are meant for riders who want practical solutions rather than flashy looks.

Ostrich has a cult following among touring cyclists, randonneurs and classic road riders. In the West they’re harder to find, so stock is often limited and sought-after.
