Kappa Double Sided Round Clock – Original Paint

These Kappa double-sided round clocks are a striking piece of industrial design — equally at home in a contemporary interior, a coastal retreat, or an outdoor entertaining space.

Manufactured in Korea by Kappa in technical collaboration with Seiko of Japan, these clocks were originally slave clocks connected to a master clock in the captain’s cabin, allowing the ship’s time to be synchronised across every deck as the vessel crossed time zones. We have converted each one to run on two reliable AA battery-powered silent quartz mechanisms. A small knob on each face unscrews to open the clock and reveal the mechanism.

The original green paint finish gives this clock an authentic, aged character that polished reproductions simply can’t match. Available in both Original Paint Green and Polished finishes.
