Dae Yang

Dae Yang has built marine lighting in Busan, South Korea since 1977, supplying navigation lights, deck lights and interior fittings to commercial vessels worldwide. Certified to international marine and explosion-proof standards, their fixtures were engineered to run for decades in the harshest conditions at sea — heat, salt, vibration and constant use that would finish off anything built for a landlubber's life.

That over-engineering is exactly what makes these fittings so compelling today. The heavy cast aluminium bodies, protected glass tubes and substantial brass and steel hardware were never designed with interiors in mind, yet they translate effortlessly into kitchens, dining rooms, hallways and commercial spaces. Each fitting carries the marks of genuine working life, giving it a character no reproduction can replicate.

We source original Dae Yang fittings directly from marine salvage, offering both polished examples and pieces retained in their original patina. Stock is limited and one-off by nature.
