Salvaged Dae Yang Solid Brass Bulkhead Light

A heavy solid brass bulkhead light manufactured by Dae Yang of South Korea, one of the best-known names in commercial marine lighting.

Built for service aboard working vessels, this substantial fitting features a cast brass body, thick domed glass lens and an integrated protective guard. The deep convex glass gives the light a distinctive nautical appearance, while the substantial brass construction provides the weight and presence that modern reproductions rarely achieve.

The warm brass finish works equally well in period properties, contemporary interiors, pubs, restaurants and commercial spaces. Installed individually it makes an excellent hallway or porch light. Grouped in pairs it creates a strong architectural statement.

Retaining its original marine character, each example shows the marks and patina earned through its previous working life at sea.

Fitted with its original E27 lamp holder and ready to accept a standard E27 bulb.
