Semco Ships Radio Dial Clock – Original Green
A compact and characterful piece of maritime history — this Semco ships radio dial clock in original green is a genuine salvaged slave clock, built for use aboard working vessels and now converted for everyday display.
Originally wired to the master clock in the captain’s cabin, these clocks kept every timepiece on board synchronised as the ship crossed into a new time zone. We have converted this example to run on a reliable AA battery-powered quartz mechanism. A small knob on the side unscrews to open the clock face and reveal the mechanism.
The radio dial face and original green paint give this clock an honest, functional aesthetic — the kind of piece that looks equally at home on a workshop wall, a study shelf, or in a nautical interior.
