Salvaged Warom Stainless Steel Explosion Proof Pendant Light with Glass Dome and Guard
A heavy, genuine stainless steel explosion-proof (Ex) pendant light, salvaged from service.
Made by Warom Technology (华荣科技股份有限公司), a specialist maker of explosion-proof lighting. The original certification plate is still fitted. These lights were built for the hazardous areas of ships, plants and industrial sites. They contain any spark or heat from the lamp so it can't ignite flammable vapours around it, which is why they are so heavy and solid.

- Heavy polished stainless steel body with ribbed sides
- Thick clear glass dome with a visible sealing gasket
- Stainless steel guard cage over the dome
- Screw-fixed top ring with the maker's mark cast into it
- Twin-entry junction box with two threaded cable entries, so it can be wired from either side
- Screw-down junction box cover with locking lugs and a fixing eye
- Two mounting feet with fixing holes, for wall, ceiling or bracket mounting
- Original embossed Ex marking and certification plate
Condition
Reclaimed from service and cleaned up for reuse. The stainless steel has a polished finish with natural surface texture. Expect some marks and patina from its working life, and minor scuffs on the glass. Every light is slightly different.
