Salvaged Aluminium Bulkhead Light by Miletich

A salvaged cast aluminium bulkhead light by Miletich, the Spanish maker of watertight electrical fittings for ships, founded in 1935. The round polished body carries a domed glass lens protected by a cage guard, and three fixing lugs let it mount flat to a wall or ceiling.

Simple, tough and endlessly versatile, it suits hallways, porches, stairwells, pub and restaurant interiors, kitchens, workshops and garden walls. The bright polished finish looks equally good on brick, timber or painted plaster.

Condition

Genuine used salvage, sold as an unwired light body. It has not been rewired or PAT tested, so it should be wired and tested by a qualified electrician before use. Expect light marks and patina from its time at sea.
