An increasingly rare find — this Marine Radio Co tortoiseshell clock (model MCS972H) was salvaged from a decommissioned cargo ship and retains its original distinctive tortoiseshell-style casing, a finish that sets it apart from the more common painted or polished variants.

The Marine Radio Co Ltd is based in Korea. These marine slave clocks were originally electrically connected to a master unit on board ship, keeping accurate time unaffected by the violent movements of the sea. Each clock has been converted to run on a single AA battery-powered silent quartz mechanism — ready to hang straight on your wall.
